Welcome to MPA's Part Smart Brake Training Series!
This 8-part brake training series covers
brake system inspection, installation, and servicing.
This first module will focus on the importance of interviewing the customer regarding their brake system issues and a pre-inspection test drive of the vehicle.
- Topics covered in this initial webinar will be:
- Asking the right questions.
- Addressing the customer’s concerns.
- Asking qualifying questions.
- Test-drive analysis.
- What to do and what not to do during the customer interview
Module 1 will lead into Module 2 where we discuss the actual brake system inspection procedures which will include what to look for, what measurements are critical and brake specifications.
Stay tuned for announcements on additional modules in this series which will be presented on a monthly basis. Other modules will focus on selecting correct friction materials, service procedures for disc, drum, and parking brake, flushing and bleeding, and bedding in new brakes.
